
DOUBLES RULES
1. The normal rules of snooker apply & the etiquette of the game should be observed AT ALL TIMES.
2. The same order of play shall be maintained throughout the course of the match.
3. In matches of 3 frames, NO player shall break of more than once.
4. In matches of more than 3 frames, players of the same pairing should play alternate break off shots in frames 1 & 3 and frames 2 & 4 respectively.
5. In a deciding frame, a coin toss will determine the choice of break and again, the order of play will be maintained.
6. Pairs are NOT PERMITTED to consult with each other when either player is at the table.
Players MUST NOT delay their approach to the table when it is their turn to play.
7. Quiet consultation will be tolerated by pairings during opponents' table time.
This consultation SHOULD NOT interfere with the opponents play.
8. A referee has the right to ask players to speed up, e.g.
Where a player continually takes undue time over even the simplest of shots.
9. Avoid slow play, as this will make the matches more enjoyable for all.
